If at last resort you can't get money for your reptile then the least you can do is give it an amazing home. I've owned and helped others with their reptiles for a long time. My favorite to take care of is monitor lizards(varanus) but im also experienced with ball pythons, hognoses, boas(only hatchlings though), bearded dragons, crested geckos, leopard geckos, chameleons, tegus, iguanas, also breeding feeder insects. I have major confidence any reptile i choose to take in will get the best of treatment i dont pay for reptiles because i choose to do what others dont do and take them to a vet to get them checked. I want the best for your furless friend and i hope you make the right choice to let go of somwthing you love if its better for them. I'm really only looking to take in reptiles with enclosure and lighting because i have no more enclosures but im still willing to take them in without.
