Event to help empower CFNKY women in real world scenarios. We are pleased to offer this Women's Safety course to current members of the CFNKY family. With the partnership of Republic Bank we are able to offer this course at NO COST to you! The course will cover general roadside safety, and a special lecture from Detective Melody Parker of the Boone County Sheriff's office. Detective Parker will be speaking on situational awareness, personal safety, and an introduction to self defense specifically for women. What to expect: This will be a limited capacity event with 20 slots available. We will have both lecture and hands on portions of the class along with written materials for each participant and a special gift bag! What to bring: We have a limited number of chairs available. Please bring your favorite camp chair. This will be a fast moving course with limited breaks. Bring a drink and snacks that you can enjoy during the lectures.
