Paycheck every Friday. Starting wage but you get comfortable with the shop and show your skills. First raise after 30 days guaranteed. With ongoing regular raises and performance bonuses. School certifications and such are NOT required. Experience and a strong fundamental understanding of mechanics is. The head mechanic is very talented and a great teacher. He can mentor and train you as you get settled in. We want you to be able to work on your own so he will be able to help you without hovering over you. Because it does take a bit to show your experience is why we do a 30-day probation period and at the end of that are able to put your pay where it needs to be. Many people claim that they know everything but once they get in there they've got the lug nuts on the tires backwards. Our main focus is working with the different trade companies working in or near the villages. In addition to their vehicles we work on their equipment. Lawn equipment, generators, pressure washers, mixers, trailer repairs etc. The shop opens at 8:00 a.m, which will be your starting time each day, Monday through Friday.
