The Porter is responsible for keeping the property clean, minor maintenance and landscaping, making sure the property is in good standing. The primary goal of this position is to provide attention to the appearance of common areas for a safe and adequate living/working environment. - Experience sweeping, mopping, washing and waxing hallways, floors and stairs. - Experience vacuuming and using floor polishers. - Knowledge in janitorial duties and small repairs. - Experience in emptying compactors and trashcans. - Experience in clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways - Keeping good relations with resident owners, tenants and staff. - Must be extremely detail oriented. - Self-motivated and proactive. - Handyman experience is a plus. Shift details: Sunday, 2pm to 10 pm, Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2pm to 10 pm.
