So we’re pulling a page from the public radio book and launching our own intimate concert line-up. Say hello to Tiny Cash Wrap Concerts, a series of performances by local Boston musicians happening where you least expect them, right at the check-out line, right in Seaport. Next up in Volume II: a performance by Eph See at One Seaport Courtyard on May 21st from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Born and bred in Boston, Eph See (she/they) has been recording and releasing music since she was 17. While music had always been a huge part of her life, it wasn’t until her junior year of high school when something inside her clicked: this is what she wanted to do with her life. She recorded and released her first single, “Contact” the spring of her senior year of high school and has been dropping singles and collaborations with other artists ever since. Taking inspiration from artists like UMI, SZA, and Omar Apollo, Eph See writes genderless music about the many strains and shapes of love and healing that many can relate to. Music is a method of cathartic release for her; giving her an outlet of expression in times of hardship, and she strives for her music to be an outlet for others too. Eph See is also planning an EP release and she is well on her way to becoming a fresh new face in both the Boston music scene and the indie/bedroom pop scene.
