Special Strong Grand Opening Event to Help Individuals with Challenges Special Strong, a new adaptive fitness franchise with programs for children, youth, and adults with physical, mental, or cognitive challenges, is holding its Grand Opening May 22 at Jumping World, in League City. Special Strong’s adaptive fitness programs take the latest scientific approach to fitness for individuals with physical and mental disabilities, including those suffering from conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, Parkinson, multiple sclerosis, or muscular dystrophy. The event is free to the public and will provide a glimpse into Special Strong’s customized physical therapy and exercise programs to help those with mental and cognitive limitations obtain higher functioning physical skills, says owner and trainer Mike Lutey.
