Join the Hampshire County Young Professionals for a beautiful, intermediate-level hike on Sunday, May 23rd at 1pm! We are excited to invite you for our first true hike! Meet at 92 Reservation Rd., Sunderland, MA 01375Enter via Rt. 47 (Rt. 63 takes you off-roading!) Sunderland Caves and Sugar Shack via Robert Frost Trail is a 2.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sunderland, Massachusetts that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. For more information about the trail, visit All Trails. Bring a backpack, at least one bottle of water, a snack (e.g. banana, Clif bar, granola, nut mix), and bug spray. Wear sunscreen, hiking boots or supportive sneakers, and weather-appropriate clothes. Please bring a mask, even if you are fully vaccinated. Bring a head lamp if you'd like to explore the cave. The cave is very tight and dark. This is totally optional and very fun. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. Please pick up after them. Friendly children who can keep up or be carried are welcome. Please pick up after them.
