Tree mulching at Ravenswood Manor Park and Buffalo Park Please join us on 5/22, 9am at Ravenswood Manor Park and Buffalo Park for It's Your Park Day! About this eventEvent day: Saturday, May 22 Event time: 9-11am Starting location: Please first stop by either Manor Park (4604 N. Manor Ave.) or Buffalo Park (4501 N. California Ave.) to sign in. When registering for the event, please pick the park you'd like to volunteer at. Registering and Volunteer Waiver: Due to current circumstances, we ask that you register for the event through Eventbrite. Also, be sure you have also completed and submitted the Chicago Park District's standard digital volunteer waiver release form. By registering for this event, you are affirming you have completed and submitted this waiver. COVID precautions: Attendees will by physically distanced, and must follow standard COVID safety practices. Masks will be required. If you're feeling unwell or exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms at the time of the event, please stay home. (There's no need to alert us.) Please feel free to bring any additional wheelbarrows or shovels to use. Additional Details:This free and family-friendly event is brought to you by the Horner Park Advisory Council, the Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association, and the Chicago Parks Foundation, as part of CPF's Pitch in for the Parks program, which starts May 22 and continues citywide through October 2021. Registering in advance is the best way to ensure there are enough supplies on event day. This event is rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
