We are hella excited to invite you to Fargo-Moorhead’s newest outdoor experience: Food Trucks & Trails Festival! Nature of the North has partnered with Where Is That Food Truck and Quirky Event Planning to bring a new and exciting family friendly outdoor event in Moorhead, Minnesota! We aim to bring a day full of trail running and mountain bike races, family outdoor games, live music, and most importantly… FOOD TRUCKS! At the end of the day, the event turns into a 21+ campout complete with a concert by D Mills & The Thrills, camping access, beer/wine by 701 Eateries, and of course… CAMPFIRES! You can be sure that there will be a way for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. What: Food Trucks & Trails Festival When: Saturday July 24th, starting at 10 am, with activities throughout the day and the option to camp overnight Where: MB Johnson Park in Moorhead, MN Schedule of Events: 10 am - Event Begins! Come hang out with us outdoors, play some games, and shop vendors! 10 am - Food Trucks Open for Business 11 am - Trail Runnners Begin 1 pm - Mountain Bike Race 4 pm - Happy Hour w/ 701 Eateries (Camp Setup Begins) 5 pm - Cornhole Tournament 6 pm - D Mills & The Thrills! 10 pm - Campfires and Booze (need we say more?) It’s an event you don’t want to miss, so grab your tickets now before they sell out! Stay tuned for more details on which food trucks will be there, daytime activities and general information. Trail Run & Mountain Bike Racing If you want to test your skills on the trails of MB Johnson as a runner or biker, enter the race and show us what you got! The Trail Run begins at 11 am and is for all levels (2.5mi). The Mountain Bike Racing will begin at 1 pm and is for average or experienced riders (10mi). A map of the trails will be sent to all registered racers. Cost is $30 per race. Food Trucks Food trucks will be available throughout the entire day, from 10 am - 10 pm to serve up some delicious food! Walk up orders are accepted as well as a drive thru option for those who want to enjoy a meal, but aren’t comfortable with being in-person at the event. Stay tuned as we announce which trucks will be available! Campout Ready to take your outdoor experience to the next level? Hang out with us overnight at the park! We’ll be partying for a while after the concert, and what sounds better than spending the night with 100 of your outdoor-loving friends? This is a great opportunity for the first-time camper to test out tenting around people willing to help you out and with the amenities of town nearby if needed. Tent setup begins at 4 pm. (Gear Shuttle Available) For those who already have their own tent, the cost is $50 and includes a spot in our open tent area, a General Admission Concert Ticket and 1 free beverage. (BYOB after the concert - alcohol sales end at 10pm) No tent? No worries! We have a VIP Campout option for $200. With this choice, you receive a tent for two ALREADY SET UP, 2 General Admission Concert Tickets, 2 race entries, and 2 free drink tickets. Concert Tickets We’re so pumped to have D Mills & the Thrills joining us for an evening outdoor concert! Music begins at 6pm and goes until 10pm! There will be beverages being served by 701 Eateries too! Be ready to stand or bring a lawn chair to enjoy comfortably. Concert tickets are included in all camping options, or they are available to be purchased separately at $30/person, which includes one free beverage. Cornhole Tournament Bring your "A" Game to the park and show us your bags skills! Tourney starts at 5pm. $30/team Family-Friendly Games Bring your friends and kids and hang out at the park with us! Friendly, leashed four-legged friends welcome, too. We’ll have all sorts of yard games and activities to keep you having a good time outdoors.
