Do you have a new born to 12-month-old baby? If so, we invite you to join us at the Norton for a special visit for you and your baby. Do you have a newborn to 12-month-old baby? If so, we invite you to join Dr. Martha Mangin as she takes you and your baby on a special visit to the R.W. Norton Art Gallery. This program is intended for small groups and forges individual interactions between the caregiver, the baby, and a specialist in child growth and development. It has 3 goals: 1. To provide a safe and relaxing space for parents/ caregivers to interact with one another. 2. To share knowledge of different areas of a child’s first year of growth and development 3. To model activities designed to stimulate babies in an arts-rich environment Tickets will be limited to 8 babies and their caregivers so that we can ensure a quality program. Older siblings will not be able to attend this program but are welcome to participate in our Back Yard Books program designed for ages 2 through 5 and their caregivers beginning in April. This first session will focus on the child's movement. One ticket per infant required.
