Valley Linen provides laundry service with pick up and delivery for various local businesses including restaurants, hotels, retail establishments and offices. Our products include sheets, towels, napkins, table linen, uniforms, floor mats, and mops. We are a family owned business established in 2005. Our Production Assistants work with clean laundry, preparing it for delivery to our customers. The job tasks include sorting and folding various types of linen, wrapping linen for delivery, as well as hanging uniforms. We use an automated ironer and folder for some items, which requires quick and efficient loading. Our Production Leader will work alongside the Production Assistants. They will keep the team motivated, make sure production goals are met, and work closely with the General Manager who will provide ongoing support and direction. The right candidate for this job will have previous leadership or management experience. They will have a positive attitude, work well under pressure, and be very detail oriented. Laundry experience is not required, on the job training will be provided. Physical requirements: must be able to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, with lifting up to 20 lbs. Ability to work in a warm environment during summer months. The approximate schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Hours may vary due to business demands. Valley Linen offers paid time off, paid holidays, holiday time and a half, and a casual work environment.
