Wake Local Reentry Council and Legal Aid of North Carolina are partnering to share information about the new Second Chance Act Law.
Participants will receive free legal advice about criminal record expungement and other Legal Aid of NC services that address legal barriers to successful reentry. We will start the process for individuals that are eligible for Legal Aid assistance. There will be several free giveaways!
REQUIREMENTS:
Participants must have an active NC Works account to attend the session. Select the link here to create your free NC Works account. Participants must complete a COVID-19 Prescreening Risk Assessment on the day of the event.Temperature checks will be conducted on all participants the morning of the training. Anyone with a temperature of 99.9 or higher will not be able to attend the workshop. Participants will be asked to wear masks at all times. Masks will be provided.
