Job Type: Full Time Pay: Hourly: $13.00 - $17.00 + OT | Hours per week: 40+ Hourly: $20:00 - $25.00 with a CDL Driver License To be discussed, based on experience level. We are looking to hire a General Laborer, having a CDL Driver License is a plus!. He will work with the other construction team members on allocations of duties, such as rotating tasks as needed on a project. If you have a CDL driver's license, you will be responsible for transporting equipment, machinery, and tools from one location to the other; should be able to work as a laborer on other tasks between hours. (281) 219-5122 Responsibilities: • With CDL driver license: Responsible for transporting equipment, machinery, and tools from one location to the other. • The driver should assist with loading and unloading equipment and machinery from his vehicle. • Responsible for ensuring equipment, machinery, and employees arrive safely at each location. • As a commercial driver, he always should apply safe driving best practices and encourage personnel to follow these guidelines. • Assist crew lead and/or local field management in construction work • Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables • Maintain equipment as necessary and according to safety specifications • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards • Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces Skills/Qualities we are looking for: • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record (CDL driver license is a plus!) • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. • Must be detail-oriented, with a good attitude and great mechanical and troubleshooting skills. • Background check and pre-employment drug screen required. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Should be able to lift loads between 20 to 75 pounds from time to time. • Knowledge of traffic control and lane closure. • Ability to use hand tools daily. • Ability to maintain equipment. • Effective listening, interacting and writing skills
