Description

MILFORD, MA — If you could bring any program, project or event to Milford relative to the arts, humanities and sciences, what would you pick? When you think of an answer, tell the Milford Cultural Council (MCC). The MCC has mounted a survey seeking input from Milford residents to figure out how to spend arts and culture funding from the state. The survey asks residents which local events and programs they already attend, and to suggest new ones. The MCC is the local partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which provides funding for arts and culture programming across the state. In 2021, the Massachusetts Cultural Council is providing $500 for the revitalization of Draper Memorial Park, and $15,800 to the Milford Cultural Council for other local programs. The Milford Cultural Council survey is live on the town website now and will available through the first week of June.
