Live-In Caregiver Clovis We are looking for a clean, neat, and courteous caregiver to live in and help take care of a professional, quadriplegic man. You will be part of a team and have negotiated days off each week. There is companion care involved like helping prepare meals, laundry, and light housework. There is also a lot of down time for you to pursue personal interests. Some nursing skills are required. The client needs help bathing, dressing, and transferring into his Wheelchair. He also wears a colostomy bag which requires help with maintenance. You need to be able to life 50 pounds. The client has a Wheel Chair Accessible Van and will need to be driven to appointments and work engagements. A valid and current California Driver’s License is required. You will be paid free Room and board and a negotiated stipend every month. This is a good fit for someone looking for a place to live that has prior nursing or caregiving experience.
