Gunners Lake Little Schoolhouse uses a development and skills-based curriculum with skills assessments conducted throughout the year, and the owner teaches children the American Sign Language. They also follow the play-based learning approach that helps children build motor skills, social skills, and manners. Weather-permitting, children get two hours of daily outdoor activity in the spacious backyard and playground. In the summer, children over two years old go on weekly excursions. Teachers are friendly, loving, responsible, and very family-oriented. They love working with kids! Their ultimate goal is to provide the children a clean, safe and comfortable environment where they can play and learn with guidance and loving care while you're at work. This home-based daycare accepts children as young as 3 weeks through 5 years old. They have an open-door policy and encourages parents to stop by at any time.
