Machine Operator - Countertop Fabrication: 1st & 2nd shifts

Innovative Surfaces is a custom countertop fabricator looking for dependable and quality-driven individuals to join our team! Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and trustworthy individuals with a solid work ethic and positive attitude. This is a hands-on position that requires heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), bending, kneeling, stooping, and being on your feet while working. Experience in natural stone and quartz fabrication is a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a machine operator: -Set up, adjust, operate, load & unload machines in a safe and efficient manner. -Monitor and maintain the machine to ensure it is operating properly. -Perform visual inspections of equipment with complex parts. -Inspect each item before and after machining to ensure quality and specifications. -Communicate and document material defects, quality issues, job completion, etc. Required Qualifications: -Must be dependable and reliable, including reporting to work on time every day. -Must be able to work overtime as needed. -Must be able to demonstrate your ability to lift tops, accurately measure, read and interpret prints/shop drawings, use angle grinder, saws, and other hand tools, etc. -Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job on a regular basis, including Heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing for long periods, and other physical demands as required. Shifts available: • 1st Shift (5-6am start, currently working 4-10's Mon-Thurs, but will return to 5-8's after pandemic) • 2nd Shift (2pm-12:30am, Mon-Thurs) PAID VACATION, PAID SICK, PAID HOLIDAYS after 90 days!
