National Trails Day Hike
Come join us on National Trails Day as our group of wonderful volunteers leads you on a hike heading north from Rt. 174 to Rt. 74 walking through some of the beautiful fields of the Cumberland Valley. The hike/walk will be about 4 miles round trip with a little history of the Appalachian Trail through the Cumberland Valley and how it came to be.
Please come early because we will leave promptly at 1 and it will allow for time to sign the waivers and introduce everyone. We will be on National Park Service lands so we have to abide be their policies. If you are vaccinated you do not need to wear a mask if you are not you do. What you need to bring: water, snacks, dress appropriately for the weather, and your curiosity of how wonderful the AT came to be in our backyard.
