JOB SUMMARY Villa Marin is currently looking for a Full-Time Entry Level Building Attendant to perform various maintenance duties on a variety of buildings and facility equipment, fixtures and systems. The Entry Level Building Attendant will be responsible for a variety of duties in building maintenance, painting, and general up keep of the building common areas and condominiums. SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 40 hours per weekMonday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pmShifts will also include some holidays as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Monitors all equipment for proper operation. Conducts and documents daily building inspections in conjunction with Supervisor/Manager.Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment and paint/coating supplies and equipment.Assist in deliveries to resident units when assigned as needed.Performs repairs in residential dwelling units.Responds and assists in any and all emergencies that occur on Facility premises, including response to call-back duties and/or situations.Assists Resident with retrieving and delivering items to Storage cages in the garage etc., and/or the moving of furniture.Cover front desk security and/or reception duties when assigned and as needed. REQUIREMENTS High school graduate or equivalent. Some experience in minor home and/or building maintenance. Ability to work afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. Ability to be on-call as needed. A minimum of one year’s previous experience in handyman and repair duties. Applicants must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by Community Care Licensing through the State of California Department of Justice background check bureau.
