Join us at Madison Heights Civic Center Park for our Spring Native Plant Sale! We have invited other groups in the city to bring some fun activities to the event. We will have The Seed Library there as well as a live monarch display and crafts for the kids! More information will be shared as its made available. The best way to attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators is to plant native flowers! The Environmental Citizens Committee is hosting a native plant sale to benefit The Bloom Project, which aims to install native pollinator gardens around the city, and encourage residents to choose native plants for their landscaping. The Environmental Citizens committee and The Bloom Project have partnered with East Michigan Native Plants Nursery to bring this sale to the community. East Michigan Native Plants prides themselves in growing pesticide-free Michigan native wildflowers and grasses, with a focus on plants that are important to our native pollinators and birds.
