Description
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — In celebration of its 35th anniversary, the Riverside Park Conservancy will host a "very special evening" throughout the Upper West Side green space.
On June 8, the Conservancy has organized live music throughout the park, an opportunity to meet artists from the "Re:Growth" public art exhibition currently on display in Riverside, and an open bar at both Pier 1 Cafe on West 70th Street and Ellington in the Park at West 105th Street.
"Spend the evening with us — have a drink at Pier 1, wander with friends through the Park to see our exhibition, listen to music, and end at Ellington's or any other path you may choose," wrote Riverside Conservancy President Daniel Garodnick, in a news release.
The night of Riverside Park fun is not free, though.
All ticket sales, $50 in advance and $100 on the day of the event, which you can buy at the Ellington or Pier 1, will go directly to the Conservancy's ongoing work to care for Riverside Park.
The evening will go from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 8.
The mission of the Riverside Park Conservancy is to "restore, maintain, and improve Riverside Park in partnership with the City of New York for the enjoyment and benefit of all New Yorkers."
You can find out more about the Conservancy on its website.
