DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County businesses will connect with graduating high-school students on May 21 for the district's annual Senior Career Fair, to be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Douglasville Conference Center. "Douglas County School System graduates enter the world college and career ready," said Mandy Johnson, the district's executive director of college and career programs. "We are excited our local employers want to add them to our local workforce." Students from all Douglas County high schools are invited to participate, with students at each school to attend at specific times. During their school's time, students can ask hiring managers questions about specific career opportunities. Because of COVID-19 protocols, no more than 100 students will be allowed in at one time. Pre-registration for the event is required and available online through each school's Work-Based Learning Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator.
