General property maintenance

JM Commercial Holdings is looking for someone to perform general property maintenance at our various commercial and residential properties, such as some general repairs, painting, and grounds maintenance. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, professional, and reliable to come work with us and our tenants. Responsibilities include: General repairs per tenants’ and property management’s requests Mowing (riding mower & push mower), weed-eating, maintenance of landscape beds, including mulch as needed, keeping grounds clean of debris and garbage Tree trimming, hedges & shrubs maintenance Operating vehicles, mowers, power tools and skidloader Light snow shoveling, ice treatment as needed Picking up materials and parts as needed for repairs and lawn care Maintaining service records and receipts of purchases Other miscellaneous jobs as needed All projects must be completed in a timely manner Skills Required: Basic knowledge and experience with general carpentry, electrical and plumbing Proficient in the safe use of manual and power tools Painting experience is a plus Able to create a regular maintenance/lawncare schedule based on need Ability to properly maintain equipment and tools, and deliver for servicing when required Basic computer knowledge Safe driving record Must be flexible with scheduling and responding to work orders Able to apply common sense approach to detailed written or oral instructions Requires working in all weather conditions Ability to perform strenuous tasks in an 8-hour day Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Professional and friendly attitude toward tenants and office staff. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
