We have (2) positions available for new landscape assistants. The ideal candidate already works in landscape construction and is looking for a change in employment. We offer the opportunity to work outdoors while learning to build high quality landscapes in the greater Santa Barbara area. Pay starts at $16/hour for candidates with a strong work ethic and desire to learn, up to $19/hour for candidates with significant masonry and landscape construction experience. Regardless of experience level, we hope to find dedicated workers looking to improve their landscape construction skills, and who meet the following requirements: 1. Arrive on time for work Monday-Thursday, 32 hr. per week, from 8am - 4:30pm. 2. Have permission to work legally in the United States. 3. Be willing to follow social distancing and masking requirements as needed. 4. Have a cell phone, and means of transportation (car, truck, etc.) to arrive on time for work at job sites throughout the Santa Barbara area. 5. Be able to work 8hr/day outdoors, and perform a variety of physically demanding construction tasks, including lift/carry up to 65lbs. 6. Be able to follow detailed instructions in English and/or Spanish, and have a strong desire to learn new skills. We offer paid breaks, paid time off, and paid sick leave as part of your compensation.
