Description
I have an idea for a cover band to perform at weddings, birthday parties, and local gigs. I would like to get a solid act down with three singers first. We would cover a wide variety of decades and genres, so I'm looking for an inclusive mix of singers to trade off lead vocals. This is meant to be a fun, party band with lots of energy. The goal is to get people hyped and on the dance floor, so think bands like The B-52's or The Black Eyed Peas. If I can find a DJ + singer, that would be perfect. Starting small with voice and dance; will seek a session band later if needed.
I am cool with a band of 30+ year olds. I'm down for a mom & dad band. I work in film & TV, and this is something I want to do for fun and for cardio. I'm not interested in being a big name. I write songs in my spare time, and it'd be cool to sell them to a pop star. You can check out my demo that sounds like a 1960s girl group here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvUaIPVosrQVtcQudxtwKR2DkNoA4u0Bh I am happy to send other examples including my cover medleys too. If you have songs that are retro, I'd be open to working on those too. I can play rhythm guitar, but I would rather dance and move. The music we cover would be crowdpleasers and party favorites. Here is an Apple playlist of a summer mix to give you an idea: https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/west-coast-pool-party/pl.u-Ldbqe0rt295NAJ
I love to perform, and I love seeing people let loose to music. Looking for music lovers who just want to have fun!
