MERCHANDISER - Greater Eugene/Central OR Location: Shift Schedule: Mon – Friday 8 hours a day General Summary: This position is responsible for carrying out each project assigned in a professional manner to enhance the customers store through merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating. This position will ensure that everything possible is completed at each store location required by company standards to help them be more successful. *** ALL TRAVEL AND GAS ARE PREPAID **** Essential Job Functions: Place orders for entire store/s (all categories.) Provide pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and rack implementation for all perishable and date-sensitive SKU’s/categories. Rearranges store shelves or display areas as close to company approved planograms as possible, to improve sales. Monitors potential account problems at the store level and reports issues to the Territory Sales Manager/RSM. Maintain a safe work environment in the stores. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis for incoming orders. Perform additional duties as assigned. Follow carefully the standards and organization in all sets of product as outlined by company standards. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and write English. Must possess basic math skills. Strong customer service skills. Ability to follow written instructions Ability to drive approximately 2,000 miles per month on average Education and Experience: Customer service experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in Merchandising. Sales and retail work experience preferred. License and Certifications: Must have a reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and a valid driver’s license from the state of residence Working Conditions: Work involves driving to customer locations and working inside a busy retail store. ***** TO LEARN MORE & APPLY ******
