We are looking for a super star preschool teacher to join our team at Enchanted Childcare. The West Salem location is under new management and Ready to re-open. We are looking for full or part time, hours of operation are 7-530 Monday through Friday Paid holidays, Sick Time, and competitive pay Full Job Description Are you a positive, creative, and motivated person who loves to work with children and families? We have jobs openings that require working with children from the ranges of Infant to school age * Monday through Friday, full time & part time positions Minimum Requirements: * Must be at least 18 years of age or older. * At least 1 year of experience and/or education in Early Childhood Education or related field. * Must clear and maintain clean record for Oregon Central Background Registry * Must be dependable- consistent staff provide youth the opportunity to create positive relationships with adult role models. *Ability to relate joyfully, respectfully, and sensitively to children, families and other team members. * Able to support youth in developing problem solving, conflict resolution and friendship skills while navigating group dynamics. * Able to engage and communicate with children during activities and routines. * Complete CPR/first aid, Food handlers, Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety, Recognizing Child Abuse & Neglect courses right away. * Communicate effectively with staff and families. * Able to lift 45 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and be at the same level with children based on the environment when appropriate. There is also a great deal of finger and/or hand manipulation needed for this position. *Dependable Transportation is needed.
