Farm help/ Goat Bathing

We have a part time job opportunity at our farm, just south of Austin, for the right person(s). Pay is based on knowledge and experience. Primary responsibilities will include: Feeding and caring for goats, dogs, and sometimes bottle feeding goat kids. Help with halter breaking and bathing of goats. Occasionally administering medications to animals, and other farm related duties as assigned. Hours tend to be from noon to 4pm, weekdays. Some days maybe 9am to 4pm. Weekdays only. What I expect is you to be able to pass a background check, have a positive attitude, be punctual, licensed driver with reliable transportation, provide references, and can lift 50 lbs unassisted. Children are not allowed to accompany you to work. I can teach you any knowledge you may have gaps in. If you don't have experience with any of these things but the desire to learn, I am happy to teach you all aspects of animal husbandry, breeding, care and vet tech type work on an internship type basis. Still, no children are allowed when interning on the farm.
