Primary Purpose: To produce parts on one of the press brakes in the Ram Steel processing department. Moving of employees between processing stations to best utilize manpower, on an as needed basis, is standard operating procedure. Safety is always our #1 priority while working in our shop. All processing employees are required to provide and wear steel-toed boots. Ram Steelco will provide leather gloves & tools as required. Duties consist of: 1. Safely operate a hydraulic press brake to process plate & sheet metal as specified on work orders & drawings. High quality work output and satisfactory quantity output are requirements the job. (The work areas are to be kept as clean as possible at all times) 2. Conduct maintenance equipment placed under your control as needed and required. 3. Assist other employees on processing projects as assigned by your supervisor. 4. Safely operate other equipment in the processing department as assigned by your supervisor. 5. Safely operate a forklift & overhead crane to move materials to & from machinery. 6. These are not all-inclusive and will include other special projects assigned to you from time to time. Performance will be evaluated on: 1. Your production quality and quantity 2. Efficiency of Press brake operations and ability to accurately record order hours worked on each order 3. Safety and Attendance record 4. Accuracy of parts when compared the order specifications 5. Ability to cooperate and work with other Ram Employees to process orders smoothly Compensation 1. Hourly paid position. Wage range $18.00 to $20.00 per hour DOE 2.
