Hi, we are a small home + office custom design furniture company based out of SE Portland looking to hire a SKILLED craftsman to join our team in the wood shop on a part time schedule and work into a full time position if the fit is right. Must be able to work unsupervised, dependable and reliable with attention to detail. You must have at least some experience with: -Ripping and gluing dimensional lumber, with the ability to use joints and dowels to prevent cupping -Different styles of joints and gluing -Epoxy and finish work The priority is surfaces and table work, but a more advanced skill-set is a huge bonus for work on custom orders.
