We are an asphalt company in the City of Pomona and are in need of Crew Members who we will train, to work on jobs throughout Southern California. We are looking for hard, efficient workers to add to our crews, who can and will move fast to get things done! The base rate for this position will be $18-$20/hour. Due to some jobs that we are awarded that pay prevailing wage, fringe benefits, and overtime, our crew has averaged an hourly pay rate of $25-$30/hr with all compensation considered. After 90 days, there will be an opportunity to review pay rate based on skills proven. *1 week vacation offered after 1st year, based on accrual of hours. Other benefits/perks to be discussed during interview* *Those with roofing and construction experience are encouraged to apply!* Basic requirements: Willing to accept flexible working schedule – Some overnight stays required (Crew has option of riding in company truck or taking their own vehicle to jobs). Must have a strong sense of urgency to get things done. Moves quickly and with purpose. Able to work with a team and take direction well. Able to work in outside elements (heat, like Palm Springs temps). Must have valid driver's license. Must have own transportation. Must be able to pass a background check (after conditional offer of employment), drug test. *Mechanically inclined a plus (e.g. able to diagnoss and troubleshoot minor issues with equipment etc.) *Prior foreman or lead man experience a plus Prefer for the applicant to live within a 30 minute drive from their home to our yard *Please reply to this posting with your resume.
