We need someone with evening and/or weekend availability to cover BOTH cat visits AND dog walks in various neighborhoods throughout our service area (Allston, Brighton, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Newton Corner, and Fenway). Most of the work is on-call and fluctuates according to client requests, but there are also some reoccurring appointments. Hours would vary between 5-15 hours/week, but could potentially increase, if someone wanted additional work. THE ONLY HITCH IS THAT YOU MUST HAVE A VEHICLE because the area is too large to cover any other way & sometimes dogs will need to ride in the car. The ideal applicant... -has prior experience with dogs AND cats (personal and/or professional) and feels comfortable handling and caring for multiple dogs and cats -is reliable, trustworthy, punctual, conscientious, hard-working, friendly, and outgoing -enjoys exercising and being outside in ALL types of weather -has a vehicle to use for transporting dogs between walks -is familiar with the service area (or at the very least, is good with directions and can read a map) -has a smart phone To apply, email a copy of your resume and 3 references, along with a brief description of yourself.
