Have you worked with 12-volt electronics? Alarm systems, Car audio, low voltage lighting? Integrated Wireless Technologies is the premier two-way radio company on Long Island. We are looking for several Technicians to train for vehicle installation work. If you have experience with telecommunications, 12-volt, car stereo installations, know how to wire a radio chassis, or the motivation and drive to learn, please submit your resume. Position is Full-Time hourly and includes benefits and paid time off. Vision and Dental insurance and 401k are available. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, salary commensurate with experience. While we prefer you have you own tools, we offer a tool allowance that will be forgiven after 3 months of employment. Earning additional industry-recognized certifications can lead to promotions with greater earning potential. Responsibilities: • Communicating and executing key tasks including off-site installation for vehicle applications, programming of radios, maintaining inventory, and assisting others. • Maintain accurate and complete paperwork. • Represent the Company in a positive manner. • Plan and coordinate with the service department on daily activities to support and exceed our customer's expectations. • Actively participate on assignments with others. • Troubleshoot motor and control systems • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems • Adhere to all quality and safety codes Our ideal qualifications: • A willingness to learn and grow with IWT. • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills. • Grace under pressure and good judgment in sensitive situations. • 12-volt experience or previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
