Construction Workers will perform various required tasks on the construction areas to complete a water main project which consist of installing new water line pipe, removal and disposal and laying concrete and other duties. The following are important skills for a Construction Worker to have: • Physical strength when performing heavy labor that is required from Construction Worker such as digging trenches and backfilling unearthed areas, excavation, loading and unloading equipment, material etc. • Physical stamina in order to handle long hours of performing strenuous work during the day and in hot or cold weather • Familiar with infrastructure construction safety • Proficient in following instructions from supervisors and project manager • Capable of working alone and in a team The skilled and dedicated construction worker assists to ensure that a project proceeds on schedule and on budget.
