I've decided to rehome my Great Dane. He is a 2 year old black neutered male. He is a great dog but a few things have brought me to this decision. First off I work nights and sleep during the day. This used to work as he would spend the day in my bedroom but now he wanders around and sometimes stands over me in bed lol... which means I can't sleep so then he is spending ridiculous amounts of time in his crate. We also moved recently to a new home and put 10k into our backyard and he is digging it up. Not if he's out there for limited time but even if he's there for like 20 minutes. I just can't see all that be destroyed and more importantly feel terrible every day when I have to put him in his crate just for walking around. If you are interested please text me and I will send you pictures and answer any questions you have. I won't be letting him go to a family where he won't be getting a TON of time out of his crate.
