Growing trash company seeks skilled mechanic to join our team! Multiple shifts available. Pay is between $20-$30/hour, based on experience and ability. Looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair fleet of refuse vehicles (front load, rear load, and roll off) – including hydraulic systems, air systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, exhaust, engines, transmissions, and tires • Perform scheduled maintenance and annual DOT inspections • Roadside assistance, all weather conditions • Document repairs with a computer-guided diagnostic tool Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years' experience as a mechanic with diesel and/or refuse vehicles • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required) • Basic computer skills • Possess complete set of hand tools for a heavy-duty truck mechanic • Welding & fabricating skills (a plus, but not required) • Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds • Climb ladders and work from heights of up to 13’ 2” • Good driving record • Pass drug screening Benefits: • Insurance - health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability • Paid Time Off • Cell phone reimbursement
