Walnut Creek Country Club Tennis Department is in need of a part-time Court maintenance and Pro Shop attendant. 10-25 hours/Week--varies weekly depending on weather and season.
The position hours will typically be 7am-10am Monday-Friday. Additional evening and weekend hours may be needed in the future.
Successful candidates will be able to lift 50lb pounds repeatedly as needed.
Be responsible for opening courts in AM which includes sweeping, and lining 5 clay courts to prepare for member play
emptying and refiling water jugs with ice and water and restocking cups.
clearing debris from hard courts and clay courts as needed
vacuum and clean pro shop as needed
answer phone/check messages
extend service to all members in a prompt, polite and courteous manner.
assist with court repair and or other maintenance
cleaning bathrooms, restocking paper products
Sweep patio and areas to insure all areas are clean and presentable to members
Must be able to make logical decisions based on training provided
Additional duties may be required as needed by Director of Tennis
Training will be provided for the right applicant
Previous experience as landscaper, farm hand is helpful not needed. excellent customer service skills required. Must be able to communicate by Phone, Text and email. Must have reliable transportation
Compensation $9-10/hour based on experience.
