Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Groundskeeper. This is a seasonal, part-time position, reporting to the Director of Facilities, and working with the horticulturist. The Groundskeeper will assist with the horticulture program at Castle Hill, including harvest gardens, bedding plants, and ornamental shrubs. To perform this job successfully, the Groundskeeper must have excellent project management skills and will be able to work well independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities of the Groundskeeper position include but are not limited to: • Assists harvest garden, greenhouse, and bedding plant areas • Performs and supports horticultural practices (watering, seeding, harvesting, and weeding) • Plant and harvest consistent supply of microgreens and edible flowers • Assists with container plantings and specialty gardens • Assist culinary team with planning, locating seeds, and planting rotational • Assists culinary team in maintaining a composting program. • Maintains horticultural tools and equipment • Other tasks as assigned by management.
