Role: Assembly Technician
Time Dedication: Short Term, Full Time Contractor
Location: Bothell, WA
Pay: $25 / hr

Strive Tech makes smart clothing that records muscle, heart and motion data from athletes, soldiers, industrial workers, and patients. Our tech provides key biometrics that support injury prevention and faster recovery from injury.
Strive Tech is looking for an Assembly Technician to build the 4.8 and 5.0 versions of our hardware units. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, solve problems on the fly, and has a great eye for detail. We are looking for someone with a maker/artisan mentality. If you love working with your hands, learning new skills, making things, and solving problems, we would love to talk to you.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Use hands and tools to make or repair parts and products.
Interpret and follow assembly and technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Improve current and develop new processes and procedures
Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of standard shop hand and power tools
High attention to detail and standard of work.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and an ability to work with small parts
Very high mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
Additional Desirable Skills :
Experience with 2-part epoxy adhesives
Experience with 3d printing
Experience with laser cutting/engraving
Basic electronics soldering experience
Basic knowledge of 3D CAD software (Fusion 360, Sketchup, Solidworks, etc)
