Mr. Music Man Company is a mobile music education program that brings a fun-filled class to preschoolers with music, dance, instruments, and theory. We are seeking fun and energetic teachers who want to share their passion for music with children ages 2-5 in a fun & upbeat class setting! Charisma, humor, and performance skills are important for this setting. Job Type: Part-time - Work morning hours teaching music in fun work environments with young and excited kids - Option to pick up afternoon private lessons (in-person and zoom) - Get paid every Friday! - Flexible schedule accommodates for gigs, private lessons, classes, etc. - Gas Reimbursement for longer commutes - Great training and support from management Wage: $25.00 /hour* (*additional reimbursements added for longer commutes) ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - School, lesson, and instrument will be assigned for each class - Record attendance for class at each school - Lead kids in energetic dance - Create a fun and safe environment to learn about music notes, theory, and instruments - Submit class notes, photos via online database, and attendance REQUIREMENTS: - Reliable transportation - Pass background check - Smartphone or smart device to access curriculum for each class - Provide instrument(s) to demonstrate in each class - Time management and punctuality - Covid Vaccine required by schools.
