We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, professional, punctual, and hard-working team members for prepping and loading our furniture for weddings and events in the DC, VA and MD area. We are a women-led company with an outstanding staff and we are looking to add to our team! You must own a vehicle or have reliable transportation to/from work (we are not metro accessible) and be able to lift 75+ lbs. A positive attitude, great customer service, and dependability are musts for this position! We rent our furniture for luxury events so professionalism is a must. A typical work week is Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm with some weekends. Daily shifts include cleaning and prepping furniture, loading furniture and securing on truck, cleaning up and putting furniture/tools/equipment away in warehouse. Sometimes there are early mornings and late nights. It is hard work, but you will have fantastic coworkers and be part of a growing company. Our inventory is vintage and antique, so you must handle all items with extreme care. Qualifications: - Punctuality and reliability is a must! We will pay you to be 15 minutes early to each shift. It’s that important! - Professional and Friendly Demeanor. You will be the face of the company when onsite and will be interacting with clients. - Positive Attitude and a Team Player. You will be working early mornings, late nights, and long days. Willingness to work hard, work fast, and have a positive attitude throughout your shift is a must! - Communication. We are looking for someone who will stay in contact with the Something Vintage Rentals team throughout each shift. - Responsible. Can work independently and complete tasks in warehouse without being consistently told. January, February, and December: Up to 10-20 Hours per Week March - April, July: Up to 15-25 Hours per Week May, June, August, September, and November: Up to 30-40+ Hours per Week Requirements: - Vehicle or reliable transportation to get to and from work. (We are not metro accessible) - Weekday Availability and some weekends if needed. - Ability to lift 75+ lbs - 1 year of Moving/Packing, Warehouse, or Customer Service experience. - You will be asked to complete a criminal background check if hired. Pay: $15.50+/Hr Based on Experience.
