We are looking for a Measure/Template Technician to join our fast-paced environment team. This position will be responsible for measure/template countertops providing accurate templates as well as the best service and communication with our customers during the measuring process. As a Measure Technician, you will travel to the client’s location, capture the required data and measurements from each job with our software, and submit all documentation on time. Applicants must have a valid and unexpired driver license RESPONSIBILITIES • Driving to jobsite as first field contact to handle templating and measuring cabinets for countertops daily to ensure templates are sent on time to the shop. • Follow schedule to arrive to template/service appointments on time. • Communicate with homeowners and builders to verify countertop design details and dimensions for templates. • Drawing up countertop template for fabrication making notations for all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specification desired by the customer for the job. • The templater is expected to communicate any relevant information to the salesperson, operations staff, and productions staff in a timely manor. • Responsible for meeting/exceeding performance standards related to the timely measure, uploading all measure files and photos immediately to company software. • Communicate in a professional demeanor with customers over the phone and in person, to provide critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation process. • Any unconfirmed information about the job is the responsibility of the templater along with the salesperson to find the missing information. • Service work including but not limited to working with granite, marble, quartz on such work as seam rework, chips, filling and polishing cracks, remounting sinks, stain removal, re-caulking, etc. • Light installation as needed of small tops and or splashes. • Understand and follow all job site safety rules and regulations. • Must dress presentably.
