DZ801 - DETAIL SHOP TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY Cleans and refurbishes new and used vehicles. Cleans vehicles before and/or after body work and mechanical reconditioning is performed. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances. CDL License preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES  Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.  Wax, polish and buff exterior body panels including chrome.  Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.  Steam clean interiors.  Steam clean engine compartment and exterior.  Follow company safety guidelines.  Report safety issues to management.  Operate all equipment in a safe manner.  Keeps work space neat and clean.  Performs other duties as assigned  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE • Reports to Detail Shop Foreman QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
