Forming a classic hard rock / metal band for our VETERANS

Experienced bassist, not currently in a band looking to put together a classic hard rock / metal cover band. Here is the story, I am a member of the American Legion, in case you don't know the AL is a group of both veterans who have served or their immediate families, sons, daughter, wives, husbands, grandchildren. The AL holds events and fundraisers all the time to raise money for charity. Many of the events are in the Spring and Summer, are outdoors in a picnic or BBQ type of setting at the AL post...the bands who currently play at these events charge a hefty fee to do so, I don't agree with that, I have been in bands and done benefits for Vets and never charged a dollar, they feed you and drink you and that's enough...these folks fought for our freedom and put their lives on the line and are holding these events for CHARITY. I am not getting into the politics of what other bands do, that's up to them, but I never have and never will charge to play an event for a veterans organization. If you are looking to make money in THIS band playing for VETERANS, then stop reading and go join a bar band. If you're interested in playing Sabbath, Crue, Priest, AC/DC, Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, DIO, VH, etc...because you enjoy playing and performing live and having a great time and knowing you are helping out with charities that support children, animals, fellow veterans, etc...then reach out to me. I dont care about your gear as long as you have what you need to play your part, these will be mostly outdoor shows on a stage playing to between 100 and 200 people, I dont care about your age as long as you can set-up / tear-down your own rig, have transportation, have a good attitude, do not have any addictions. I have a set list worked out but will modify it based on what every one knows to get rolling faster, would like to get up and running ASAP as the events are already happening. Venue/Post is located in Wayne NJ. Need 1-2 guitarists, drummer, vox, unless someone else can sing...I cannot.
