A big hello to all of you working parents. I will be offering help over the Summer for children of all ages while on their Summer break. I'd like to introduce myself first. I am 39 years old and I grew up in the state of Hawaii. I have been living here in Clermont, Florida for 8 years now. I am married with, (older), children and have always loved being a mother. I graduated college with a degree in Sign Language Interpreting. I have been a full time ASL interpreter working with children of all ages, (including those with disabilities), for 10 years now. I currently work in Lake county schools and have passed a full background check, available uopn request. I also have experience working with infants and toddlers in childcare as well as driving a bus for pick up to and from school. During the Summer I will be staying home, while school is out. I am going to do what I love the most, and that is working with children! I plan on teaching those, (that are willing to learn), ASL. Along with that I will have age-appropriate learning activities. I will also have board games available, a video game area, kid-friendly movies, an arts and crafts station, etc. I also have a seperate area for toddlers and babies; including a crib for nap time, a swing and slide so they can let out that energy while having fun. I enjoy providing a scheduke of activities to keep the little ones entertained, and also a relaxed environment for those free spirited children that prefer to go with the flow. Meals and snacks are included. Rates include 50 per day, or 150 per week. Thank you for your time and I hope you find the perfect fit for your family!
