A mostly flexible custodial/bldg upkeep role providing regular maintenance tasks for a 3-flat building in Edgewater/Andersonville. Must be very conscientious, honest and skilled at performing basic repairs and handling physical cleaning and upkeep needs.
Your support would require visiting the building 2-4x per week (days and times mostly flexible) for regular interior and exterior cleanup (sweeping, tidying, debris removal, dusting, mowing, snow removal). Also includes occasionally meeting repair or trades people and/or prospective tenants as needed.
Must be a good communicator and provide regular updates to the bldg owners (we're nice!). You'll receive an easy-to-follow checklist of tasks to perform, and the owners will go over everything with you and be available for any questions.
If you are dedicated, reliable, take pride in a job well done, have attention to detail, don't mind physical work, and are easy to work with — this could be a nice side gig for you! If you're handy and enjoy keeping a place looking clean, that's even better. We ideally prefer someone who lives in or near the Edgewater/Andersonville area.
