*PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID CLASS C DRIVER'S LICENSE.* We are an asphalt company in the City of Pomona and are in need of a lead men and foremen, who we are WILLING TO TRAIN, to work on jobs throughout Southern California. We are looking for hard, efficient workers to add to our crews, who can and will move fast to get things done! The prevailing wage rate for this position will be $40.36/hour. Base rate for non prevailing jobs starts at $25/hr. After 90 days, there will be an opportunity to review pay rate based on skills proven. Foreman/Lead Man must be able to drive large truck Foreman/Lead Man needs to be at least 25 years old for eligibility on company's insurance policy. *1 week vacation offered after 1st year, based on accrual of hours. Other benefits/perks to be discussed during interview* *Those with roofing and construction experience are encouraged to apply!* Basic requirements: MUST have Foreman experience. Traffic Control experience. Willing to accept flexible working schedule – Some overnight stays required (Crew has option of riding in company truck or taking their own vehicle to jobs). Must have a strong sense of urgency to get things done. Moves quickly and with purpose. Able to lead a team and give direction well. Able to work in outside elements (heat, like Palm Springs temps). Must have valid driver's license and be insurable by our insurance carrier. Must have own transportation. Must be able to pass a background check (after conditional offer of employment), drug test, and a physical examination. *Mechanically inclined (e.g. Trouble-shoot gas and disel engine issues.
