COMPUTER OPERATOR 3rd SHIFT Job Summary: The Computer Operator is primarily responsible for utilizing the Company's computer systems for the purpose of uninterrupted data processing, operating runs, and batch program jobs. The Computer Operator will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve malfunctions to achieve system recovery and to ensure system performance deadlines are met. Hours: Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm to 6:00am Pay: $16.00/hour This position is a full-time permanent position with a full benefits package available. Duties and Responsibilities Operate computer system software applications and peripheral equipment by responding to console requests, commands, and workflow procedures. Prints and ensures quality printing of reports. Provides internal and external file transfers. Pulls sales order data to push into warehouse operations system. Completes order entry for after-hours sales. Completes daily checklist and other computer operational logs. Troubleshoots and resolves issues escalating when necessary. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Equipment Excellent organizational, analytical, and personal skills Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Ability to work independently Professional appearance; grooming and dress consistent with desired company image Prompt and regular attendance at work Education and Experience Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED One year of computer operating experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred Critical thinking skills - using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Basic math skills Professional phone manner Computer proficiency Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
