Pure Watercraft Global Supply Manager (GSM) Job Label: GSM Pure Watercraft is creating revolutionary electric boat propulsion to ensure a future where boating will be clean, quiet, and powerful.  As we prepare our supply chain and production facility for commercial launch, we are looking for a highly organized, mechanically inclined, and motivated individual to join the Supply Chain team in buying, logistics, and inventory related responsibilities.   You are a highly organized individual capable of following multiple plot-lines. You can communicate effectively with team members both in the purchasing and manufacturing space as well as those from other groups within the company. Attention to detail is essential.   Our prototypes have already delivered more than 1,000 hours of high performance boating and we are gearing up for commercial launch.  Working to support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain you will help launch and scale our first revolutionary product.   We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Responsibilities Analyze markets to determine vendor sources and product availability and other research as required Manage supplier contracts from sourcing to execution and beyond; investigation/find suppliers, supplier evaluation & audit, securing contracts, and manage contract to execution Place and track purchase orders according to engineering drawings, and database Bills of Materials: this will include custom designed and off-the-shelf components from domestic and global suppliers Collect and organize documents associated with purchasing/logistics Handle receiving of production components and input them into inventory using our ERP system Support quality inspection of incoming components Reconcile inventory and budget discrepancies between accounting and manufacturing teams Create and maintain records of issues and findings in database Contribute to entire warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety   Requirements Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities Aptitude for building cross functional teams (inhouse and external) and working across timezones with domestic and overseas suppliers Experience working with error proofed MRP purchasing workflows within ERP and MES systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Infor and others General Knowledge of gated product life cycle management from alpha/beta prototype to release candidate though to serial production with an understanding of threshold and containment gates Post COVID up to 30% potential travel required for supplier audits, negotiations and troubleshooting Desired experience Fast-growing startup experience preferred Electric Vehicle or similar experience preferred A strong technical curiosity To apply for this position or refer someone you know, please use our online interview system managed by HireMojo.
