Post-punk band seeks female vocalist

30 year old drummer (he/him) guitarist (he/him) and bassist (they/them) have been writing songs together at our SE portland practice space over the past year and we’re at the point where we need a vocalist. It would be cool if you could play a little synth, too. Our influences include Joy Division, Cocteau Twins, MBV, Les Rallizes, Boy Harsher, early goth, industrial, surf, psych etc. I wouldn’t say we necessarily sound like any of these bands though, right now we are just focused on writing original songs that we like. We usually meet on Tuesdays around 7 pm. We’re vaccinated and try to observe COVID protocol. We don’t typically drink at practice, but vocals are hard, we don’t care what you do. Send an email with some basic info about yourself, what your vocal style is like, if you want to write your own lyrics or not, and what your musical goals are. Maybe name a couple bands that you like, and one band you really don’t like. I can share some phone recordings of our songs as requested.
